Dematerialization of currency should be done as transactions can be done through mobiles/ credit/ debit cards. This will save the cost of printing currency and maintaining ATMs and ease the transaction procedure. Apart from this, it will curb fake currency, terrorism, corruption, money laundering, illegal activities, decrowding of banks and decongestion of roads. Similarly, dematerialization of property records would make life more comfortable.
